artist statement
As a stage designer, my work is deeply rooted in my passion for storytelling and my desire to create experiences for all. I aim to transport the viewers to new worlds, evoke emotions, and honor the text.
I draw inspiration from a wide range of sources, including nature, architecture, art, and life experiences. I am constantly exploring new materials, techniques, and technologies to push the boundaries of my last design. My goal is to create worlds that are not only visually stunning but also functional and practical for the performers and crew.
Collaboration is crucial in my creative process. I work closely with my mentors, directors, choreographers, technical directors, and other designers on various projects. I believe that the best designs are achieved through open communication and a shared understanding of the story being told.
Above all, I am driven by a love for the magic of theater and a deep respect for the power of storytelling. I am honored to be a part of the collaborative process that brings stories to life on stage, and I strive to create designs that leave a lasting impression on audience members.
